Custom 579 Series

579 Series is a high temperature pipe insulation system that consists of an inner core of our highly smoke and flame resistant TechLite® foam laminated to an aluminized fiberglass fabric outer layer. The outer layer serves to reflect radiant heat away from the pipes you are protecting and can withstand 500°F continuously. It is ideal for insulating piping and equipment near furnaces or other sources of excessive radiant heat. It will also protect objects from sparks and debris in welding areas and is suitable for use where fire codes call for special heat resistant materials. 579 Series for pipes is available in any standard wall thickness in 39” lengths or custom precut to your specific requirements. Sheet stock is available from ½” to 4” thickness with a maximum overall sheet size of 39” x 96”.

Custom 679 Series

679 Series is a custom acoustical insulation composite. It consists of an inner layer of our high performance TechLite® acoustic melamine foam laminated to a thick mass loaded vinyl jacket. As a composite assembly it has exceptional sound attenuation properties. 679 Series is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The jacket is UV stabilized and offers excellent chemical resistance. Typical applications include: pneumatic conveying systems; tubes, pipes, and ducts used in the movement of plastic pellets or metal parts; de-burring and de-flashing systems in manufacturing plants; frozen peas or other food products used in food processing plants; high pressure steam or gas piping; to insulate walls or enclosures to protect personnel from noisy machinery and mining equipment such as axial fans and punch cars.
